Transportation Fund
Having the freedom to come and go as you please is part of the joy of retirement. But as some people age, they find themselves less able to manage their own transportation. The necessity of errands and appointments still exists, so Advanced Living Communities operates an extensive transportation program that gives our residents the opportunity to “get out” – for fun and function.
Our buses run five to six days a week, taking residents to the store or the mall, even out for lunch or away on a day trip. Group transportation operates on a monthly schedule, but residents can also take advantage of personal transportation for doctor’s appointments or healthcare treatments. A nominal fee per rider covers the cost of fuel, but Advanced Living must also maintain and insure the vehicles. Contributions designated for Transportation Fund enable our residents to maintain an active and independent lifestyle with safety and convenience.
