Service Coordinator Program

Advanced Living Communities employs registered nurses as service coordinators to ensure our residents receive holistic care in our residential retirement communities.  Currently, we have two service coordinators serving our residents.

Our Service Coordinator (SC) coordinates a busy schedule of activities for our residents to participate in at no charge.  For more information, visit our Way of Life.  The SC also assists residents with any paperwork they may have, including income certifications, rent rebates, waivers and Medicare.  The complexities of government programs are often difficult to navigate, but our residents have the life enrichment coordinator as an advocate to help them receive the resources they need to age in place.

Our Wellness Director (WD) ensures our residents remain healthy and safe, a vital part of our community.  The WD performs annual health assessments (with the resident’s consent) and maintains a confidential file of medical and emergency contact information.  Should a resident need additional services, the WD acts as a liaison between the resident, family and healthcare providers to arrange care so that the resident can age in place as long as possible.  Our Wellness Director is a respected well-connected “face” both in our communities and the local medical community. 

Contributions to the Service Coordinators Program are used to fund this program, unique within affordable housing, and ensure a holistic quality of care for our residents.
