History History : Advanced Living Communities

Advanced Living Communities was founded in 1962 by members of the Schwenkfelder Church, a small Christian demonination native to southeastern Pennsylvania. Founded on the values of universal equality and unconditional compassion, Advanced Living opened its first residential retirement community, Schwenckfeld Manor, to low-income seniors in 1974. Expansions followed in 1979 and 1989. Advanced Living opened its second community, Schwenckfeld Terrace, in 2008, serving over 300 residents on its original campus.

That's the Advanced Living Way of Life.
